OUR VISION

Vision

We exist to Connect as Family, Dream the possible, Release God’s Heart, and Live an Authentic Life in Christ.

The Christ Life Way - 4 Vision Pillars

The vision of Christ Life is supported by four pillars that represent the principles we practice in our community of believers. These pillars help us grow in Christ, relate to one another, and live out our faith in everyday life.

DREAM

RELEASE

LIVE!

CONNECT:

We are the Household of Faith! At Christ Life Louisville, we believe spiritual life is meant to be lived in community. God designed us to grow in relationship with Him (John 10:27) and with one another (Gal 6:10, Heb 10:24-25).

DREAM:

God has deposited purpose, gifts, and vision within every person. A Christ Life includes discovering all the goodness placed within us. Dreaming the possible encourages us to walk by the Spirit and see our lives through the lens of truth, God's Kingdom and the future He is shaping through us, not just what is in front of us. With God all things are possible! (Matt 19:26, John 16:13)

RELEASE:

Releasing God's heart means living in a way that reveals Christ to the world around us through our actions, relationships, and influence. We share the new life we have been given and put it into practice daily. We are not ashamed of the life Christ has given us. (Rom 1:16, Phil 4:9)

LIVE:

Authenticity means living in alignment with who God created us to be. As we grow in Christ, we are transformed and begin to live from a place of truth, freedom, and purpose. This what it’s all about! (John 10:10b; 2 Cor 5:17)

OUR BELIEFS

About the Bible

According to II Timothy 3:16–17, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Scripture is divinely inspired and serves as our foundation for understanding God, His will, and the life we are called to live in Christ.

If you are seeking answers, you may not always find the exact topic written by name, but the answer can always be discovered within the pages of Scripture. The Bible provides wisdom, guidance, correction, and instruction for every area of life.

To truly understand Scripture according to God's heart, we must read it through the lens of the Word of God Himself, Jesus Christ. Across cultures, languages, and generations, the message of Scripture remains consistent because the words were divinely breathed out by God into those who wrote them.

About God

We believe God is one Being who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who together make up the Godhead. Although each person of the Trinity has a distinct role, they are perfectly united in thought, purpose, and will. (Genesis 1:2, Matt 28:19, John 1:1, John 6:38, John 14:9, Colossians 2:8-9)

  1. God is Father – We originate from and were created by a good, kind, and loving Heavenly Father who designed us with a unique identity, purpose, and destiny. (Psalm 139:13, Jeremiah 1:5, I Cor 8:6, James 1:17, I John 3:1)

  2. God is Son – Jesus rescued us from sin, death, and the grave when He died on the cross, and through belief and acknowledgement of His resurrection, we experience a new birth into His Kingdom. Jesus will return one day, but we should not worry about the moment. We should plan for the day by living life each day in Him. (Matt 3:17 John 3:16,)

  3. God is Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is the promised Comforter and a treasure who lives inside us. He convicts the world of sin, shows us what is right, and brings proper judgment. God's Spirit leads us into all truth, speaks only what is heard from the Word himself, and lets us know what is coming.
    (John 14:16–17; John 16:8-13)

About Salvation

Salvation is solely through Jesus Christ. He is the only way to be born again into the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3-7, John 14:6, I John 4:15).

About the Kingdom

Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is the extension of heaven into the earth. Wherever His Kingdom shows up, righteousness, joy, and peace are present. As God's children, we are ambassadors who represent His heart and authority on earth. (Romans 14:17; Luke 4:43)
